OKABEST™ additives: new opportunities for your plastics applications.

The right choice of plastic additives often determines the success of industrial innovations. OKABEST™ and OKAFLEX™ special stabilizers lead to new and diverse product properties for your plastics. We accompany you through the testing process and work with you to ensure that the optimization potential is fully exploited.

With the in-house developments of the OKAFLEX™ and OKABEST™-CLX product series, OKA-Tec offers the portfolio in the field of heavy metal and halogen-free long-term hot oil and heat stabilization for polyamides. OKABEST™ and the new OKAFLEX™ series offer excellent protection against deterioration of the mechanical properties of finished parts under long-term stress. Our products demonstrate very good performance, particularly under continuous loads in aggressive media such as acids and bases, at high temperatures and in hot oils, glycols or urea solutions. The low volatility of these additives is reflected in a significant reduction in the formation of deposits in the injection mold and extremely low VOC emission values.

OKABEST™-CLX additives for PA are specially designed for light-colored applications with significant performance advantages over other Cu-free antioxidants. Furthermore, this product range achieves excellent process and heat ageing stability values in adhesives and sealants

The OKABEST™- PAT series for PP includes special long-term heat stabilizers and highly effective metal deactivators for use in technical polyolefin blends such as PP + 30 % GF or talc-filled systems. These grades are characterized in particular by very low emission values, which fully meet the current requirements of the automotive industry.
